Kevin D. Birkhead

Kevin joined Baratta, Russell & Baratta as an associate attorney in 2011. He practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, estate administration, taxation, business law and civil litigation. Kevin counsels clients regarding the administration of estates and trusts, handling tax matters, dispute resolution, creditor claims, and many other legal issues that arise in this context.  He is experienced in estate planning for a wide range of client needs, from managing sensitive family dynamics to developing sophisticated tax plans. He also works with businesses entities and advises on corporate and commercial issues and the protection of business assets.

Kevin is also experienced in the area of community association law and has worked with numerous condominium associations and homeowners associations on issues such as transition, dispute resolution, and corporate governance.

 

After graduating with high honors from Rutgers-Camden Law School, Kevin worked as an associate attorney at Parker McCay P.A., one of the largest law firms in Southern New Jersey, where he gained extensive experience in trusts and estates, corporate law, litigation and community association law. 

 

Kevin was born in Philadelphia and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Kevin and his wife, Rose, have two children, Patrick and Shannon.
