For the past few years Baratta, Russell & Baratta has been becoming increasingly involved with Philadelphia VIP and Laurel House of Montgomery County.
Laurel House – a non-profit organization working to end domestic violence.
We recently participated Laurel House “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” where the men of BRB had the opportunity to wear red high heels and silver go-go boots! Laurel House offers numerous services in Montgomery County that support women who are victims of domestic abuse.
Luca Baratta (16) and John Feenan Jr. (16) joined Tony, Andy DiPiero and Jack Sweeney to literally walk a mile in high heeled shoes to raise money to fight domestic violence.
Philadelphia VIP – The hub of Pro Bono Legal Services in Philadelphia
Philadelphia VIP recently hosted Brushstrokes for Justice, an event held at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, to raise funds for the services it provides to tens of thousands of indigent Philadelphians. Tony Baratta (a VIP Board Member) and John Sweeney are both active members of the Philadelphia VIP providing legal assistance to those in need. Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program is 37 years old, and lawyers all over the Philadelphia area offer their time and services Pro Bono to Philadelphia citizens who cannot afford a lawyer.
